Since 1970, The Potter's House Christian Fellowship has planted over 3,500+ churches in more than 135 countries throughout the world...

The vision of The Potter's House Christian Church in the Inner West of Sydney, Australia is to fulfil Jesus’ Great Commission in Mark 16:15 “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every person.”

To achieve this, the foundations of our Fellowship can be summed up as:

Evangelism - Disciple Making - Church Planting

Our Mission

Is to build a community of contagious Christians that will have global impact by supporting and planting churches all over the world.

Evangelism - CHANGING LIVES

With this focus, we are constantly endeavouring to reach the unsaved and unchurched with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to spread the good news of God's love and His saving grace throughout the world. Whether we use Christian bands, movies, dramas, street preaching, or door-to-door evangelism, our focus and mission is to help lead people into their own personal relationship with the Saviour Jesus Christ.

DISCIPLE making

It was Christ Himself, who commanded His followers to "make disciples of all the nations," and the simple obedience to this command by our founding Head Pastor - Wayman Mitchell that has been imparted as our fellowship's vision. The call for ordinary people to do extraordinary things through the working power of the Holy Spirit. No matter who you are, God has a plan for you. It is not who you are but what you can become in Jesus Christ.

church planting - REACHING THE WORLD

Our aim for every local church is to be a church planting centre. With the focus of building God’s kingdom and not our own. We collectively release couples into the ministry, to pioneer a work for Christ within communities and nations throughout the world. With multiple Bible Conferences throughout the world, it is at the events where the Fellowship collectively release and launch couples into the harvest field.

“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
— Matthew 28:18-20
